Well, this got political very quickly. Not everything you disagree with is "leftist" and being banned for acting like a douche doesn't make you a political martyr. I didn't like how Zeph was treated, i voiced my opinion to Dave and i wasn't banned for it. As for why DK is a cult? Please try to use a little nuance. I personally love the art and the story telling but there are stuff that i disapprove like the early lore and especially the handling of Vi's situation. But in the end i had to weight one against the other and i still found the comic to be entertaining and the characters likeable. I am also curious to see more. Dave is entitled to his opinion and i am personally satisfied to leave the matter to rest. No artist is perfect, i am not a fan of all those side projects but in the end i am still enjoying myself. No fan is in a cult for disliking confrontation about that specific matter.
As for the porn, it is not something rational. People want to explore certain side of characters, how debauched they may be, but if they take away your enjoyment of the story, i suggest ignoring it. If you're still mad about it, then perhaps DK is better than you thought for affecting you that much. In the end, you decide whether you want to support DK or not, but as in all matters, i suggest a little more lucidity when disparaging the fans.
