The funny thing about Star Wars is that, prior to Disney purchasing Lucasfilm and Kuntleen Kennedy shitting all over the franchise by nuking the Expanded Universe, there were -alot- of furry alien races. One could easily post a vaguely Star Wars picture with a furry in it and say "that's an x, from the expanded universe."

As an example- have a couple of Selonians (otters).
