Oh, so it's a attempt at a "comedy loves misery" by showing she's got nothing going on and all by herself during the holidays.......still don't see it.

If she were passed out drunk on her bed, in her tank top/ undies with a Santa hat, littered with various glass bottles (and a carton of eggnog), or hell, have her ripping off something from a Christmas vine compilation, THEN I guess I would've gotten the joke.
Here, can't tell if she's either being dark/isolated in a "pretentious" kinda way, or she's about to kill someone from the shadows like the killer from "Black Christmas."

The latter is somewhat debatable. As you tell from from this thread, there has been some art pieces of her and some tiger security guard. But I can't tell if that's canon.

The sexual abuse thing though, that's ZZ's background, not Darke's. Darke's background as far as I can remember was that she was an orphan that never got adapted, got in an incident with ZZ, then she gave her a job as janitor.

Somewhere in my archive is the last picture Eric drew of Tammy, mourning the death of Eric's dog, "Tor" who was a big part of the Tammy drawings.
