Well to be fair the thread title doesn't specifying what this thread is nor is it in the opening post. So could it could be anything really, as long as its daki related i suppose.

As for the low res images, its basically whatever image of the daki is available at the moment. Plus most artist made daki design of either their own choice or from a voting poll or they were either commissioned or they did a YCH auction. So sometimes they're not going to post the full hi-res versions, very few artist do. Plus there's also a chance that they may actually get it printed sometime in the future if they so choose to. It really depends on the situation actually. Like the kemono one from amiami it not set to be out until March
The only problem I see is that sometimes there will be Prints done by other site's like the one's in China and try to sell them as their own, so theft is one problem.
Also lets not forget that most commonly people will go with the peach skin option mainly because of budget. It also depends if the site even has more options beyond peach skin. I remember mad mable (which shut down) only had peach skin. The site mentioned (other then amiami/playaisa) offer other options beyond peach skin or even get it printed on a larger cover like furry dakimakura offers. Hell they even allow you to get a custom print as long as it's a hi-res image I believe, but i do believe they limit the amount of the same print. Plus there is even the undressing option too.
Unlike japan daki's they only make then in the 2way tricot, unless you get it from china.
Also it seems bad dragon is has daki's now featuring Duke and Janine, so what ever fancy you flavor.
