The strength thing only really applies to them if they're bigger than a human. We have tons of comics where the anthros are smaller or human sized and don't have enhanced strength, sometimes they coexist with the bigger and stronger ones too

do you genuinely think evolution is like a point based system?? in evolution, "give and take" is not a thing, just because X improves does not necessarily mean Y must decline as a result. that's just not how any of it works. things in nature do not have inherent trade offs outside of the nutritional/caloric need XYZ addition may add. evolutionarily speaking, if a creature was the exact same as X creature but just had better vision, it would not need to have worse hearing to 'balance it out'.

To be fair to evolution poster: if multiple species fill the same niche and one is superior 'across the board', it will tend to displace the rest.
What we are observing here is the alternative outcome: each species evolved into its own distinct niche (specifically, humans occupy the "submissive bottom" niche just like Darwin intended)
