hey lmao orf here. a friend linked me this thread to let me know that my comic is being leaked which doesn't bother me too much since i figure it's just a part of putting stuff out there (although tbh i'd appreciate a LITTLE time before a new page get's leaked lol)

what does bother me is people spreading weird rumors??? this literally didn't happen. i designed a dad character for weaselgrease as a commission a literal decade ago and that has nothing to do with the purge. it was because of patreon killing accounts of people i know. one friend specifically had their account killed even though they had no incest on it and when they appealed staff let them know that any site that links back to your patreon must adhere to their acceptable upload terms because otherwise they said you're funding that art through a loophole. the situation sucked but i'd been wanting to move away from those themes anyway because i didn't like being pigeonholed as the "incest guy" since that's all anyone ever wanted to see from me or commission me to draw. it sucked the fun out of it. but i made a zip folder and google drive link that i passed around to a bunch of incest groupchats as like a "sorry if you didn't get a chance to save the art, here it is" and a bunch of it is even still available on https://x.com/floparts/

but yeah just wanted to clear that up bc what the hell??? lmao

Hopefully you don't abandon it entirely. It would be a shame if you let audience expectations (or even worse, fucking payment processors) discourage you from occasionally indulging in certain subject matter if you personally still enjoy it.

Another thing that frustrates me abotu Nexus is how few and far betwene his comics are. If you aren't subscriped to his patreon you maybe get one a year (and that whole rut thing) which hadly tells anything. I feel like so many things happen off screen.

I used to be subbed on their Patreon and there's comics they posted years ago they still have never publicly shared.

I unsubbed because they blast your email as a watermark all over the pictures. Just ruins it.

I've been on many artists Patreon's and they were by far the most user unfriendly.
