Chill dude, they took two years and 47 pages to get to a sex scene. Re unresolved plot points the story isn't over yet so hard for you really to say. I suspect you just really wanted to bitch cause you didn't want cock yet. To me it makes sense, Stephen has been shown living with them long enough to become fluent, long time to build up a bond. They didn't jump straight to hard core fucking. It ain't shakespear, but given the limits of the medium it ain't bad.

As for your points re normal people, normal people in extraordinary situations do different things. Not that I actually think Stephens choices thus far have been that abnormal. He landed on a desert island, begged for help from the only people he found, spent time among them and grew to like them.
Re the tribe. Not all tribes kill outsiders and if they did this would have been a short and bloody comic, not exactly much of a story in that. They don't seem like a large tribe they might welcome a new member who can be trained to help provide. Life is harsh outside of modern technology, high mortality rates, illness, food is not always easy to get.

There is a lot of effort goes in to producing a comic, certainly with this high quality art. However, unless they were to include huge pages of dialogue there is only so much story they can give per page. Personally I like that they haven't cluttered up every page with huge volumes of text. I see it in amateur comics a lot. Less sometimes is more.

Okay, I'll explain why I lose interest in comics that drop their plot for something else. And I'm well aware that people won't agree with me, but that's to be expected.

Unlike a good number of people on this site and similar ones like E-hentai and the lot, when I read adult comics that have sex scenes, I normally don't read them for the sex scenes. I read them because I enjoy a good story and I like it when artist can have both sex and a good story. I don't use comics to jerk off to them because there are plenty of pictures and stories on sites like FA and Inkbunny where I can find stuff to do my business.

Now I'd be lying if I said that I haven't read a few comics here that are supposed to be funny/ridiculous and I'll read a funny adult comic sometimes, but as I mentioned, I'm more invested in comics that combines sex and story. For the most part, I'm usually not disappointed. Comics like Classmates

were big disappointments for dropping the plot/drama they had going for them for the sex/fanservice. Granted with Bonebury, it's more the slow pacing and it changing from a gay comic to straight. But the comics had a promising start only to lead me and a few others disappointed.

The reason I brought all of that up is because I was invested in this comics' premise. It was original, it mixed the plot and foreshadowing of the love scenes and I gave it a chance and I didn't regret it, even when it took a few months for pages to get uploaded. But for me, I felt that the love scenes are a bit rushed and that it's throwing away the plot points it had for the love scenes. Yes, the story isn't over yet and it may not be over for more than a year, but they seem too out of place and I'm not sure what direction the comic will go from here. Hopefully, it can go back to the plot points later on, but I hope it doesn't end with a love scene.

However, for me, this comic did not go off-rails at all. Yes, it seems Aikan was really not open with his feelings before, and planned to do this without saying anything, but it seems like that's just how this weird tribe is (walking around naked and all). For all we know, the tribe could be seriously against homosexuality, and Aikan had some kind of long internal struggle. Okay I'm not going to deny that I could've picked out more examples. The main reason why I didn't pick out any others was because my comment was already getting pretty long and I didn't want to come off as venting. And yes, those two comics were just two of the random ones here that I like. Some of the other better comics that I enjoy are Desperados by Fruitz.

Well, here's to hoping that this comic can still manage to keep a real plot to it because if not, it'll just be like nearly all other adult comics here.

As I said before, I don't read the comics because I use it as something to jerk off to. The internet already has plenty of that. I'm more interested in these adult comics if they can manage to have a good plot and actually keep it throughout and not throw it away for the sex scenes.

I'm not going to sugercoat anything; this comic is good, especially with the art but it's far from the best, mainly plot wise, as it hinted at some things only for them to likely never happen like Stephen saying he's not going to try to get off the island and him mentioning he has a brother, only for it all to be completely irrelevant. But I wonder how long he plans on letting this reach. I'd be surprised if he managed to get to 100 pages. One can hope.

I'm willing to be patient but I feel the authors at least owe an explanation to their readers.

This is one of those comics that had potential, but instead is going to use it on the 2nd chapter, which honestly shouldn't even happen. This comic alone had a lot of good ideas, but went for the cheap I'm going to stay on the Island. Fuck trying to return back to society and my normal life.

I've definitely read comics where the plot is far more unrealistic and not even trying. The only thing saving grace is that the artstyle is very good. But this just like Face2Face, a good start and middle, but ended up dropping plot for sex/fanservice.
