Am I the only one who's seeing some inconsistency? If not the constant switch between thick and thin lineart and expressions, the sequence of Nick undressing seem traced from irl models.

Also, Nick isn't that buff in the title page, but looks like the artist is trying to keep that established from page 1.

It's cuz artists like to anthropomorphize him more than he was in the movie. The filmmakers intended to depict Nick's anatomy as if he was a fox that evolved to stand upright, not as a fox head on a human body. Most artists don't bother with this, instead just, again, putting a fox head on a human body. And as far as the muscles go, they typically justify this by saying that he got ripped at the academy. Not saying I agree with any of these stylistic choices, but hey. I still think it's hot, even if not entirely faithful.

Fair enough. But I do personally prefer his lanky self. I think it's much more natural and attractive. Seeing Nick looking like he'd break your arm off just looks odd on him and doesn't fit his passive/gentle and a bit cowardly personality. Seems for fitting to draw Judy like this before Nick.

Yeah, doesn't really fit. I love the next buff dude and all, but for fan-comics such as this, I prefer characters being drawn close to their native canon builds. Most Bogo and dancer tigers art are typically cool like that, but you might as well just make a fox OC if you're gonna make Nick that buff.

I went though boot camp actually and other than losing a lot of weight I looked nothing like that. :P

Also preds do eat fish and bugs yes, but to the contrary before the film was released Byron said over his Twitter that Nick doesn't eat meat. Feel free to dig up that tweet because I'm sure not going to do it! :P So I'd say as the story is about stereotypes who's to say that Nick isn't vegan. After all he only eats fruit in the film.

Well, i find this comic hot too, but i can also see some peoples frustration. i do find it annoying how many artists tend to have the habit of taking a bear like, or stocky like character and giving them washboard abs and the "perfect body". Im not saying its a bad thing, but its just kinda silly to me sometimes. Especially since some of the characters they do it too were way hotter in whatever form they were in cannonically.

Like bowser for example. Half of his art, is with abs, and bulging muscles, which is kinda silly for him. I would like to point out that this is just how I feel personally.

But long story shortr, Its usually a matter of would it work? Is it fitting? In this particular situation, i can understand this figure for nick.....i mean when your taking a cock the size of someones arm.....you kinda want to at least try to make it somewhat matching to the situation.

I would like to point out that Nick's body is different in the cover page as apposed to the last page. It's one thing to have your own style of drawing, and it's another to COMPLETELY CHANGE YOUR CHARACTERS HALFWAY IN YOUR COMIC!

Ohba and Obata worked together, but one was the artist and the other the author. However, this point is still very relevant.

The comic book cover Nick is a sexy body type we don't get much because it becomes...this.

Look, I'm not saying I want guys to be be girly. I am saying I like a variety of body types outside of crazy buff or "bear belly rotund." Slim but average was a nice change, and I love how he was so average looking trying to get the muscular strong guy to dominate him, but the big guy just...can't...not without encouragement.

I don't know about you but these guys are not the same characters as before.

I don't think the hiatus/vacation helped this comic.

Edit: Also what bother's me the most is the pants. You see in the previous pictures they are super tight fit pants right and his balls are out behind the opening, yet in the new picture his pants are loose and his balls are inside again? So how is this possible when he is slowly pulling them off and now they are baggy in that one scene?

Yeah, I agree. I really liked this comic to begin with. But this latest page is just... honestly kind of terrible. I mean, it's not like Aaron or cyberklaw bad, but it's just a huge disappointment. And it brings attention to the other inconsistencies that plague the previous pages but were formerly easy to ignore. My hope is that buckwulf either redoes this page or makes sure the next one is better. I mean, my god his ass looks like a botched liposuction.

This page... actually managed to restore my faith in this comic. Fuck. The artist is good when he tries. But, y'know, he still needs to TRY. That last page was still godawful, but this one gets me all hot and hard again. I just wish buckwulf could be more consistent with his quality.
