Being a token of an era doesn't make you bad, it makes you dated. It'll get fully uploaded eventually. Personally, I rather enjoyed it, and I've even re-read it a few times cause while the characters are stereotyped, it is like the internet wayback machine. Super enjoyable to remember how things once were.

Probably. As much shame as it would be to admit, I'd like to own a copy of the original set. It's mostly fond memories even though these damn things came out years before I sexually matured. It's just a good comic for understanding one's self better.

It was parodied. The parody is really funny, but considering the purpose of this as a gay pride comic just when being a furry or being gay was very heavily frowned upon, it did its job. As I said, it's a relic of the past and like most of those, it should be considered and viewed in the context of its publishing. Could it have been better? Absolutely, but it was a godsend at the time.

I read that part of the problem with the comic is that one of the guys making it wanted it to be pornish while the other wanted it to heavily emphasize the story. That conflict caused issues in ASB like the one you just saw.

This comic made me fully realize I was gay. I connected so much with Daniel. Although now that I read it again I'm definitely feeling more in common with Marcus.

I remember when I first had sex, I was nervous just like Daniel but the guy I was with made me feel was in control and he helped me through my fear. This was back when I definitely had some internalized crap going on, again just like Daniel. Now though I'm definitely more like Marcus, I've even shown a couple curious straight guys what it's like with a guy. They were nervous too but they also felt better with me in control. You just have to be caring, passionate and have a good sense of humor. :)

Comic had some great heat-tugging moments but you could feel it torn between that and just being porn. At the very least, for its time it was a great comic and it helped push the popularity of furry comics.
