This irks me.

If the entire panel was cartoonish, then it would be fine. Using a caricature of a character to express an extreme emotion is common, and would have been a refreshing change from Aaron's excruciatingly poor attempts at muscles and proportions.

But it appears as though he rendered the orca character exactly as he has for the rest of the comic, only reducing his mouth to nothing more than a white rectangle with black lines.

This is a new level of lazy, even for Aaron.

Everyone keeps complaining about the anatomy but the anatomy is passable for the level of stylization. It's the proportions, construction and perspective that are bad. Also there is some improvement between the first page. Aaron could be an okay artist if he would work on learning perspective, do some life studies of human proportions and use measurements in his drawings until he gets good enough to do proportions intuitively.

I would call it passable if Aaron was just starting out in art, but this, this is terrible nothing about it is good or okay. Aaron was a decent artist starting out but he found out furries will pay anything as long as you draw their fetish quality is not important in FA everything is just fap material and he knows this. Everyone will compliment his work because he drew lots of cum or some hyper dick action, nobody will give him constructive art critique and if they do he will just whine and say it's his "style", style doesn't equal quality. I hate that "style" is used to forgive terrible or bad art, it is what it is, bad art. He knows it's bad but why would he need to improve since he is already getting paid for it.

I'm pretty sure we're all here for the bulges and big dicks (whether one is of the opinion they're poorly drawn or not, as I agree with the 'needs to study some anatomy books' commentary myself), but to be honest I really like the eyes on these characters. Not really for 'quality', but stylistically they just fit well with the cartoon-y feel of the world being portrayed, and they tell me almost right away who drew what I'm looking at the moment I notice them.

I mean, I don't disagree with you. I can ignore the shitty personality for decent art (I wouldn't call Aaron's good, but I don't mind his style). The cringe dialogue is a bit harder to ignore but it's a bit easy to tunnel vision when you're in the mood. It just irks me that this comic is blatantly misleading.

Its probably the result of Aaron trying to do too much and flesh out the story and background, but a year later...no one cares, no one ever cared, and most of his audience probably just wants what was shown in the promotional image.

I don't think it's so much the artwork itself that has his fans but rather the content of his work. I don't recall Aaron being so heavy on the cub porn (if at all) 10 years ago on FA as he is now. I guess Aaron is hitting up fans of hyper muscles, hyper cocks, cubs and, in this comic's case, incest all in once swoop. This is, quite honestly, the most disappointing comic I've ever had the misfortune to read.

I've read Marvel Comics' Ultimatum for their Ultimate Marvel universe...that was awful.

Spider-Verse was awful.

Superior Spider-Man was awful.

Pretty much anything by Dan Slott is awful.

X-Men Gold somehow turned awful too.

But none of them. NONE OF THEM. are as shitty as Aaron.

This wasn't even a cocktease. It was just blatantly awful bullshit.

Why do people support/defend/like him? Serious question here. What the fuck, people?

Spend your money on an artist who can actually draw or at LEAST can write better than this horseshit.

There are actually furry artists who have some decent talent, you don't need to settle for bottom of the barrel bullshit like this.

In spite of the atrocious proportions, I find myself liking this for some strange reason.

However I really want to see Marcelo's ass get wrecked, and that's probably never going to happen. Papa Bunny's probably not going to get caved, either, which is disappointing.
