It's an opinion that is widely shared by adults (I know because I work and spend time with many other adults; even though we all understand slight mental unstableness is a symptom of the dangerous condition of being a teenager) when they are forced to deal with a child. As for them both being young, one is clearly younger than the other; physically and mentally. Don't get me wrong, the interaction was very funny. I would actually go so far to say that it wasn't completely an abnormal interaction between young people. But to someone who isn't used to the cat's dramatic tendencies, he would seem slightly unbalanced (even to someone the same age). However negative that all might sound, I am waiting with bated breath for the next update (I love WagnerMutt's work, it's always worth viewing). And btw, correct me if I am wrong (I have a lot of experience with it), puberty is an epoch in someone's life that occurs usually in their early to mid teenage years characterized by massive hormone imbalances associated with a body's sexual maturation. Adolescence, on the other hand (while still marked my the aforementioned hormonal inconsistencies), describes the time period that follows puberty and continues until adulthood. I believe that these characters have already gone through puberty (look at the dog's muscles), and actually may be old enough not to be considered adolescents anymore, but young adults (the dog, anyway). But I do agree with you that there is something that is strangely and slightly alluring about someone who behaves that way (the plot counts on it). All that aside, I don't think I completely understand your reasoning.
