The art style is... Definitely unique. And not in a bad way either. It's very well written, with a delicious abundance of double entendres. And the premise is hot too. The art style... It's grotesque, but in a deliberate way. The off-putting character designs have intent behind them, which, for me at least, translates to the porn actually being enjoyable in spite of the ugly ways that the characters are depicted. Though I understand why some would hate it. Compare this to something like cyberklaw, whose artwork is unintentionally disgusting. He has no grasp of anatomy or shading or flow. His colors are all over the place and his lines are indifferent. He is deeply untalented and his art suffers for it. Cyberklaw's work is inept, this comic is stylized. I know I just wasted several hundred words overanalyzing furry porn comics, but in any case I quite like it and am looking forward to more.

It starts off looking pretty disgusting. But as the comic progresses it's getting distinctly more and more adorable. At first I thought it was just me getting used to the style. But no the first page is still more disgusting than the last page.
By the time it reaches page 6 it has officially hit ugly cute. And I love every second of it.

This style at first was a little rough but it seems to get better as the comic progresses. The flawed characters are a plus because I was kinda getting tired of perfect furry characters in just about everything. The roughness seems to translate into hotter scenes. I'm sort of on the opposite end. While I recognize that it may be cute and a good story, but in my opinion, the ugly visuals keep me away from it. Along with a good story, I like what I consider visuals to match the beauty of the story if that makes sense.

not who you're replying to but i agree with you. the style doesn't go well with what's becoming of the story, if it was becoming pure smut as how it was at first then i wouldn't mind but the story tries to make us feel something for the characters and adding some romance which is not becoming the best choice of style now.

If you're going to have plot in your porn, you gotta make sure it's at least decent plot. Bad plot just detracts from porn.

That having been said, though, this is actually a pretty good plot as far as porn is concerned. Like, the porn itself is awful, I honestly can't fathom that anyone finds this actually sexy, but some people obviously must. But it's funny when it needs to be, has characters with personalities, and establishes a setting and is pretty spot on in its depiction.

You know, aside the obvious "military-sanctioned cumdump" thing.

I love the inconspicuous velvet curtain in his office used exclusively for dramatic reveals. Also the most generic crate design ever.

That being said, I actually do really like this lion guy. He's the only top-heavy character in the comic so far, and he has this control/consequence that was lacking from the comic before.

While I could be wrong, I think the average anon was curious if not a bit impressed by what has been going on in this comic. People commented how accurate various aspects of the navy were, and I found the entire situation appealing more so than the art. The art itself has never been particularly garbage, and I found the appeal to a rin and stimpy style to actually be a fun and nice change. But, I suppose it's whatever the artist wants to do for whatever reason he had.

I don't know if he meant people here or elsewhere, but yeah, bad end is a sadness. I was getting really excited for where he was taking this. Oh well, but looking forward to what else he does.

It seemed to me like the most vocal readers here were the ones who gave it at best backhanded compliments.

Yeah, though, I really wish he took to heart the people who were impressed with the down-to-earth detail of the comic (epsecially the folks actually from the navy who noticed a bunch of real details) and the few who were actually really enthusiastic about it, rather than the millionth "this is sooooo ugly, but still kinda hot lol" comment or the people acting like there's a pacing problem when there's one page without a dick.
In a silly cartoony porn comic, it's pretty cool to have that kind of realism.

If it wasn't malicious, then why abruptly end the comic? Oh sure, there are alternate explanations like maybe he was going to do that anyway and decided to take the chance to deliver a big ol' middle finger, but that's quite a bit of work for some random dudes on the internet.

Could have just ignored it like most artists/youtubers/etc. and kept on trucking and continuing the comic--or he could have just cut the chord without a word or image of explanation. But he didn't. One doesn't have to stomp his foot, slam a series of doors and scream at the top of his lungs to be malicious--it can be perfectly tongue-in-cheek, like this ending.

Bottom line is this though: Why bother with this? If it's true that he's addressing U18chan specifically, it's really kinda sad that he let it get to him and even more sad that he let himself get baited.

If it's that, that's some hardcore stuff. I haven't seen a comic written by someone that much of a sub, if so. But I don't see it as wish fulfillment.

Overall, I just read the entirety of this comic and found it completely amusing. It was definitely satirical, and I enjoyed it. I didn't find it sexual at all, so the grotesqueness of the characters only adds to the beauty of the satire.

In the end everybody loses! Except the actual trolls who probably got everything they wanted and maybe more with the small amount of drama this might produce.

I don't think I really mind this ending, the story wasn't that compelling and if it wasn't that big of a deal to the artist, not mattering enough for him to end it like this, I don't see why it should be a big of a deal to me. I'm certainly not going to go kiss his ass so he'll finish this.
Hopefully this wont make things worse for him in the future, hopefully he wont cave in the future. Best case scenario, the obnoxious people who hate him, his work, and can't get over themselves will get bored and move on to something else, and he continues doing whatever he enjoys doing.

As far as petty "fuck off"s go, it was at least pretty humorous. I wish something came of it as actually having something really genuinely build with Hardy and Aubry actually made it pretty interesting.

Billionth'ing the Ren & Stimpy comments. Not sure what the guy was thinking in adapting an intentionally hideous gag cartoon style to genuine porn. If you use a joke style then you shouldn't be surprised when people laugh at it. But still, pumping out that many pages that quickly is impressive no matter the quality. The trolls wanted to get to him and they did. They got to him so much, that he ruined the ending if his best comic to say fuck you. But that didn't piss off the trolls, its what they wanted, to get under his skin.

Now the fans, like myself, who were looking forward to new pages, get the big fuck you as well.

Luckily he still has fans that are going to continue liking him because/in spite of his decision, but I'm out.

I think the problem with this comic is that it literally has no redeeming factor behind the hideous art style.
Borowski tries to sort of hide behind snarky writing but it's all just a cheap trick to hide the fact that it's nothing more than a shallow smut comic. That you can't even fap to, no less.
He deserved the hate. Good riddance.

If you think Brokowski got a good laugh at u18chan, then i don't know if we are in the same thread because what I'm seeing here, he ended his comic abruptly over some criticism leaving his fans with desire to know more which they might never get over his "fun with lolcows at u18chan" like you said.
He gave in to the trolls, he ruined his comic and people who were genuinely interested in the comic will have to comfort to what they had for an ending. If this is Brokowski way to have fun with u18chan then in the end it was all his lost because for u18chan they will move on to another comic.

Extra duty was also a comic that was release page by page over a few months.

Imagine someone building a nice sand castle over the course of 3 months and then smashing it out of anger right before its done. Why should anyone sit through another?

So, in an attempt to make positive criticism for this comic because I do actually enjoy reading, I think the comic's main problem is its staging, the worst of which is on page 46:

Both the panel of Aubry's ass and the final panel seem to be from a perspective behind the wall. The last panel may actually be from a small space in between the crates and the wall; but if it is, it's very distorted, making it hard to tell. Either way I think a better camera angle for Aubry's ass shot would be one perpendicular the right side of the crate and slightly above the crate; a better shot for the final panel would be better at the height of the Keefer (the lion) and to the left of Hardy. That way we could get a good spectives of their heights and the depth of the ''closet'' space they're in.

Speaking of the ''closet,'' I don't think Brok really knows how deep it is. Aubry's foot clearly extends past where the curtain would end, and his foot is not seen in any of the previous pages. And Aubry's leg seems to be as long as Keefer's which would imply they are roughly the same height.; but this can't be because Aubry and Hardy are shown to be approximately the same height, and Hardy is shown to be noticeably smaller than Keefer.

Another thing is the crates. The first time they're shown they appear to be about flush with the wall. But in the final panel, it appears there's a noticeable amount of space between the back of the crate and the wall, enough for Hardy's tail to go behind the crate. And Aubry appears to be leaning against the wall, but the final shot makes it seem as though either 1) he is leaning through where the wall should be or 2), the less likely option, he isn't leaning against the wall and is just leaning back and supporting himself with his core body strength ...?

Anyway, it's not like any of this it ruins the comic for me; it's just kind of distracting and confusing for this page.

Well I only found out about brokowski and FIFO like last week, and thanks to these new comments at least I could read his older stuff. It's a shame that the negative comments got to him so much by the end. I'll try to remember that before commenting on anything of his newer stuff...
