That logic really doesn't make any sense. Are you implying that these normal characters that have normal feelings (toxic feelings?) for another human being (that happened to present as heterosexual) all of a sudden turned him bisexual just because he is being pursued by homosexual men that are, by the way, in no way coercing him into a relationship. Do you believe sexuality is chosen? Or do you believe you can be messed up to be gay. Is he messed up because he is gay? So, if you had a female coworker that hit on you, it would be toxic, mess you up, and make you heterosexual (assuming you yourself identify as gay)? I always thought my feelings towards other men were normal for me. I feel normal. Does this mean I am messed up too? Should I just go to therapy and be straightened out (pun intended)?
And another thing, how do these normal men (I can't stress that enough) that have a crush on him mess him up so much that he is no longer responsible for his actions of using people? He is the one that snuggles with all his gay friends and then leaves once he gets his nurturing. How would he feel if his GF always rubbed up on him, then shut him down with "oh hon, you know I don't feel that way". THAT right there is a toxic person. THAT is someone who intentionally, and cruelly, teases people for fun who he knows have profound feelings for him. I don't understand how he can not only feel that this behavior is appropriate, but how anyone can defend him.
But I do agree with you this comic is weird.
