Long post ahead, but actually, the whole "hating each other" is just one of the five stages of love. First you fall in love, next you become a couple, but then you hit the stage of disillusion.

In the first two stages, you're riding that dopamine high you get from being in love. As time goes by, you do build a tolerance for the dopamine, and thus you hit that stage of disillusionment, where you believe you hate/dislike the other person, and question why you even loved them in the first place (or whatever the reason is). In reality, it's just you gaining a tolerance for that dopamine you get from being love.

If you can get manage to realize this and work out your issues, you get to the next stage of love, creating a lasting relationship, and the last stage is "combining forces to change the world", or really just realizing their love affects others, and may do something with that to help others.

I actually miss this comic. Artist found his style he enjoyed and mid way comic changed it. Who wouldn't want to yiff that fox.

However... at last, its been way too long since the sequels and most likely the Artist has improved his art style again. Can't blame him though for doing comission only, making comics is a lot of hard work.
