Isn't this made by the same guy who made a comic with a crazy white tiger with blue hair luring in dates but torturing them?

Guy's name is Gammauzumaki, and yes, this is the same artist as the comic Dark Soul (That is still going by the way, interesting).

From the first page's description, it says this comic will NOT contain gore. Seems like it'll be romantic and sometimes cruel (I think in this context he meant like relationship drama, though I could be wrong)

The comic is also in Spanish, so if you prefer that, go to his FA page (Same name as above)

His anatomy is good and his faces are decent , but he needs to add shading and avoid so many solid colors. Also his line work could use more variation; all the lines are the same thickness and tone. There's potential here.

The main problem is that rectangular speech balloons for the dialogues is a very bad aesthetic design, which I only see for captioning. Not to mention that there is no connecting lines, very ugly design choice

It's not a matter of translation. The translation is fine.

It's a matter of word count. That last page, for example, in the first panel. The roo could have just as easily said "Haha, hey, just kidding. Should've seen the look on your face."

No. That apparently wasn't enough. He had to repeat himself that it was a joke and announce that he was laughing. Not just laugh; he actually, actively said, "I'm laughing." That's just that page.

There's this thing when you're combining a narrative with a physical medium, such as a comic. It's called "show, don't tell." And the artist here doesn't get that extremely basic principle.

That is literally the most retarded argument people on this site continue to use despite it being one of the biggest logical fallacies in existence. Movie critics actually may be pretty bad at making movies (apparently Roger Ebert didn't do well in making a film http://mentalfloss.com/article/68865/when-roger-ebert-made-x-rated-movie ) but they can analyze them.

Of course it's important that people give constructive criticism and make sure it's helpful. The anonymous nature and intentional relaxed moderation of u18chan means some people on here will be a bit rude in their critiques. It's just reality... a moviemaker or book author will encounter the same stuff.

Just don't do what Jacqueline Howett (the author of The Greek Seaman) did and you'll be fine! (she managed to make the front pages of magazines and newspapers after throwing a hissy fit about a lukewarm review of her book, something even Tom Preston and Bobby Crosby didn't manage to do!)

I don’t see them as two dimensional characters. To me there is a sense of subtlety with their speech patterns and facial movements. Much like your comments are a subtle nod to your intelligence.

No, "tonto" (fool) is a pretty common word, as is the related "tontería" (nonsense, foolishness). It's just not as strong an insult as the rest.
