I've already discussed what happened with Krazy Fox before, in my Tumblr they asked me the same question, in fact it's something I like to talk about, so I'll try to answer the questions in order.
Indeed, Krazy Fox started as a JOB I did with another person, I was paid to draw the pages and we stayed like this for a while.
The project did not die, I just wanted to give it another focus, a little more serious, because drawing comedy is not something that, as an author, I like to do.
In fact I am preparing the printed version (only in Spanish).
The writer left because of personal problems, I did not ask more about his issues, I do not think I was the right person to ask about it.
Repeating what I said before, the project started as a job, basically they were pages by commission, when the writer left, he left me in charge of the project, but he never told me if he was going to return, even though he did not pay me for the pages, as he had problems, he told me to open Patreon so that the project could stand on its own, even he stopped writing before he told me he could not do it, so I started writing some pages on my own.
When he left and since I did not want to take advantage of what he created, I decided to redesign the characters and make another story based on Krazy Fox, yes, basically it was a reboot.
This sounds like something wrong, but I will try to explain it clearly.
Yes, I would go back to the old writer only if he pays me for a new project.
All I have done these months is for the project to be profitable, I will not continue with a project that does not produce profits, either in Patreon or the printed version.
What do I mean by this?
That if the printed version of Krazy Fox, or even Dual, does not produce profits, I will end up canceling them.
More or less is the system that uses the Japanese sleeves to continue publishing or finishing, and this I do because draw IS MY WORK.
