good. different boards are useful for that reason. it works for every major porn site in existence, and for good reason. having to sift through hundreds of straight comics to find gay ones is -tedious-. having a tag system would have the exact same effect as segregated boards except it would take more effort. if pornhub, the biggest provider of porn period separates their straight content from gay content, they're clearly onto something.

It would be cool to have a tag system in which non-English tags "redirect" or "convert" into equivalent English ones, and each English tag has synonyms in other languages.

While continental Europeans and Latin Americans in the furry scene pretty much use English, it would be important to provide language support for Japanese, Chinese, and Korean furs so they can more easily use u18chan.

Fun fact: I found out u18chan is blocked in South Korea, but VPNs can be used to get around it.
