I've purchased nearly every single Kamado doujinshi (I've met him in person a couple times, he's very nice and even speaks a little bit of English) and no backgrounds is somewhat of a recurring thing. I personally don't have a problem with it, since it seems like he only puts as much effort into backgrounds as time allows. From seeing a lot of his work, I know he's entirely capable of doing good backgrounds, but it's true that some of his books are permanent white void, especially when it gets down to the sex scenes. I'm all for shitting on people that don't support the artist, but the lack of backgrounds for several pages at a time can be kinda jarring.

ADHD, even in name is clearly not about being slow-functioning.

One of the biggest things it medicates is in regards to neurotransmitter levels. As certain parts of the brain may not communicate as well with each-other as they should. This on its own does not denote a lack of intelligence, but can lead to impairment of particular facilities, and make it difficult to stay on task or pay attention.

Stimulents like adderall are prescribed in order to increase the release of dopamine, so that there's more available neurotransmitters.

However, there's also non-stimulant medications which may inhibit re-uptake of neurotransmitters or increase receptivity of cells to them. Often they target the hormone norepenepherine.

Also.. Methamphetamine C10H15N and Aderall C9H13N may belong to the same family due to their chemical structure (being composed of (Amphetamines) but that doesn't mean that they function the same. With Methamphetamine having an extra methyl group attached to the nitrogen atom on the end, which does greatly change its potency and the way in which it interacts with your cells.

It should also be noted that having ADHD does not preclude one from having a high IQ. Many people can very easily have both.

However that does not mean that there is any link between ADHD and high intelligence. In fact the correlation is not strong enough to make that assertion either. However, it can also be assured that they are not "retarded" in anywhere near the sense you imply.

Note, that something is left out of that page. Desoxyn is Methamphetamine Hydrochloride. Sounds like the same thing, however, again you need to look at the changes caused by the Hydrochloride attached to the molecule.

It is likely to again dampen the effect of the extra methyl group that methamphetamine has over Adderall.

That methyl group does cause a large change, as it allows the crossing of the blood-brain barrier, increasing potency by a lot, as well as making the substance neurotoxic, therefore much more harmful than Adderall.
