This is Spanish.

As far as grounds for condemnation, these things are rather innocuous. Pérez is meant to be a straight bro dude type and thus is the kind who says awful things to show how awful he is and later get some kind of comeuppance (which is the formula of other strips).

The first strip is just punning on "oso" (bear). In Spanish, sloths are called "osos perezosos" (lazy bears). Anteaters are called "osos hormigueros" (ant-eating bears). They both go to the party thinking it's for things called osos/bears, when it's just a party for the type of gay male, also called "oso" in Spanish thanks to the English denomination. Which means, of course the bears shown are going to be fat and exclude them from the party for not fitting the type. The second one has Pérez complaining that Wonder Woman in the latest movie is too SKINNY and lacking in muscles to be a credible amazon (alongside some plot clichés), and later a stab at how long the LGBTQIA+ acronym gets sometimes, something I think a lot of people can attest to. Yeah, really don't see why the Gab guys get so much hatred.

A: Did you see? There's another march/manifestation, though I'm not sure what it's about this time.

Aren't bears supposed to be fat? From what I've seen in the furry community, everyone who is a bear is drawn fat, how is that fatphobic? His jokes are in front of you yet people want to find a subtle meaning. Most his jokes are self depricating and shows a crude reality, mainly happening to him seen in a negative perspective but that's what this character is suppose to be, a grumpy good for nothing weeb. The first one is pretty innocuous but the second one is definitely easy to construe as punching down at other sexual orientations/gender identities. At the same time, however, on a site where threads have to be purged on the regular because of transphobic gay men with no actual knowledge of Stonewall, I doubt that showing this off here would convince anyone at all that Folgers isn't a good person

These honestly seem way more fun than the Gab Shiba comics. Instead of the one note joke of "gay people being gay" it actually seems to be trying to be comedic. Also characters just more recognizable/cute, but that may just be me.

How on earth is this fatphobic or homophobic? It's literally just a pun on the various uses of the word "bear". Gay bears are by definition fat/stocky. If you're a *skinny* hairy guy, you're called an otter. Spanish words for some animals are just variations of "bear" even though they're not related to actual bears (nor gay bears), so it's just like... the same pun twice. There's nothing fatphobic or homophobic about it.
