I'm always surprised when it's a woman behind non-effeminate gay art but I don't see why their gender would detract from my enjoyment of their work.
I'm looking at the art, not at the artist...

Anyway it's a shame if she quit gay art for good. I really liked her Juuma Retsuden (Dragon Quest Retsuden Roto no Monshou).
