Well, It was inevitable. Lots of drama. Well, I know one of you is a patron of mine at least - so that's something. This comic IS my full time job, just so's you know, so I'm naturally protective of it. Enjoy the comic, and if you'd like to ensure that the story survives then support me on patreon; it's growing remarkably fast, but if that changes and I can't reach complete sustainability then by financial necessity it would have to end prematurely. I really don't want that to happen, because the story I've planned out is around 150 pages long, and I'm also very steady, comparatively, in that I'm not going to deviate from my 4 times a month schedule: it's my income. So, if what some of you said is true, this should actually benefit me financially and I should grow enough to keep going. I highly doubt that it benefits me at all, but we'll see. I hope the drama and vitriol against me stops and you can just get involved in the story; that's the reason I'm an artist, after all.

As for your comment about hypocrisy, you are right. I'm a hypocrite and the others defending the artist are likely hypocrites too. But there's a world of difference between someone who guiltily enjoys something they see as immoral and someone who outrightly rejects any notion that this is wrong.

What is happening on this thread and elsewhere:

Someone is using the products of another person's labor without their permission.

This is stealing. Plain and simple.

Those of us who guiltily enjoy the products of the stealing can recognize that when an artist decides to get a moderator to remove their work, that it was just for that artist to do so.

Those who, like you, explicitly defend this practice, seem to deny that stealing is wrong. And perhaps you can somehow find a way to justify that to yourself, though I wonder how you react outside of the internet when people steal the products of your labor.

Your analogy is retarded. Because having a patreon or a private only comic and then LATER releasing the full thing after getting paid, is nothing to do with "put a swing" or a "painted wall" in a park.
It would be more related to a private park where you charge for people to ride your swing and see the picture (attraction). And then getting angry someone broke the containment wall and rode the swing while insulting the park owner about how much the park sucks (while riding the swing).

The bear needs to be closer to the horse because he's in a forest and the chances of the bear losing sight of the horse are very high.

And also, the horse could very well know that the bear is following him and not care.

From my point of view, I'd say the bear is at least 15 feet away from the horse, not just a few feet.

Not necessarily... Tyrants do not like community builds like this because it builds different loyalties. So there fore if he becomes part of another group, he will feel compelled to protect what he loves. As shown already in the page, he easily accepted the new community and feels more at peace.

The real question is how the story drives forward. Will the author focus on the idea of the sexual drive and release start affecting his duties or will the members of the new group use him to get information from him to over rule the the current Tyrant?

Already in the beginning he mentioned the Tyrant has many enemies so it may be the lateral of the question. Only time will tell.

I can respect a week or two, at most a month.
But 5 months? No. That just screams artificial scarcity and patreon milking.

Especially if his intent is to release each of the the colored pages 5 months after their original release date, meaning 3 - 4 pages per month complete with ample reminders to join his patreon, for over a year after the comic has concluded.

Assuming of course he doesn't change his mind down the line and keep them patreon exclusive forever, due to "overwhelming support of the idea" from 3 people or something.

firstly, the dragon's mask has apparently prevented Devon from recognizing him,
and secondly, Devon has magically hidden his shoulder marks, so if he didn't pass out and lose control over his magic, nobody would know about them.

looks like we have this silly superhero mask cliche going on here.
probably so we, the viewers, can actually see the characters under the masks, instead of black coats with only dicks sticking out.
