Nah, not at all. Episode 9 is the gayest the series has gotten thus far (in fact, the only time it has gotten "gay"), but the main duo are still not especially shippable, going by the majority of the on-screen material.

As far as this comic is concerned I don't think we can expect any kind of regular update or an update in general anytime soon. No new page since last year and no mention of it either so this will probably be a one off that he picks up whenever he has the mood for it.
