Apples to oranges. Rukis has always provided multiple comics, stories and art on her Patreon (and for free on FA) for years and still does! Sidian on the other hand is STILL begging for money and some still are giving her donations yet she has not posted a single page or ANYTHING else for a year now!

Most of the problems with Red Lantern taking so long was not Rukis but the others who work on it with her. I remember one had a baby a year or so ago and stopped working so Rukis had to do it all by herself and learn how to mimic the art style of the other artist so the pages would look the same. Rukis writes the story and does the line work, then the other artist does the shading and Rukis does the rest if I am not mistaken.

Yeah I don't think red latern will ever be finished in its current form either. I was honestly hoping when she said she had a big announcement that she would scrap the comic entirely and finish the story with a book like her other works in the universe. I've been grown way more attached to the character she portrays in books than the ones that only get illustrated in her comics anyway.

In the black/white pages, I never knew it was actually Marcus giving that smile in the last panel. I always thought it was Reis. Probably because the perspective suddenly changed as in the previous dialogue it was always Marcus on the left side and Reis on the right.

Well you see... Rukis was partnered with a previous female artist who did the back grounds while Rukis focused drawing the main characters.

Long story short, drama happened over money and the partnership ended. However since some of the work is trademarked to previous artist, to avoid payment issues, Rukis is just redrawing everything.

If you think about it, its a pretty shady character if you ask me. The comic was already sold by hard cover and paper comic and has been posted multiple times digitally online on multiple websites. So using Patreon to get more money is just sinful for posting the same content.

Anyway, you seem to be talking about Red Latern (the crimson devine) it was indeed Rukis doing the characters and someone else doing the background. However, Cruelty was and always has been 100% Rukis. She did the first one as well as this one by her self. I know this because I was around and followed her work long before the original comic was ever released and she gained popularity right after. It was not till she started with Red Laten that she brought on someone to do backgrounds and now she is doing pretty much everything herself with a couple helping out with layers and shading.

The comic, story, and characters all belong to her. It took her time a lot of time to color everything from the sketches (before) to the color version (now). How entitled must one be to believe someone does not deserve to be paid anything for many hours of work? You have already got most of this FOR FREE and likewise it would of cost you $5 for the whole damn thing along with several years worth of other exclusive art and stories that have been posted on FA. But hey you keep telling yourself you deserve this!

You do realize when people make a remaster, its just for extra cash right? Comparing this to a video game that is being remastered from an older system; at least those remasters make a clear difference in quality.

Rukis here... is not making any effort to making it high quality and worst of all; is not adding anything more to the lore. So its a complete rip off.

Stop bashing people that are telling the truth that the remaster is barely anything different. Also, she already received tons of money when it first came out as stated earlier, from hard cover, paper back, CDs, Bundles, and then a few months later Digital Downloads. This bitch... is no different from "J. K. Rowling"; an attention whore and a gold digger.

It's true. While her lines are extremely clean, this comic is pretty solid proof that Rukis owes a good part of her popularity to Kenket's skills, whose characters show a lot more detail and personality.

Rukis got popular on her own, long before she and Kenket collaborated. This comic was made long ago, and shows she was better at pinups as opposed to action shots. She's become better at drawing in the years since, but she's still a way better author than artist.

She's finishing up her novel Kindred for publication by Furplanet.

She's done a whole bunch of smaller short stories some of which ended up being like several chapters.

Currently She's doing a short story called deadly men which is a 4 parter.

She's slowly working on Red Lantern and posted the basic script for like the first 1/3 of new one.

Doing monthly patreon polls for art.

She has her $20/year mailing list called Menagery which get's you 52 images a year in your mailbox.

I'd say she does a whole damn lot, but most is up on Patreon and only bits get posted to FA/Twitter except when she takes on a full novell again. Those get posted to FA with a time delay.
