Well for a brief summary, Mark (punk sardine) is the only friend of Guppy (orca) as mentioned in the previous story. Seems like he made a friendship with Sadie (main sardine, telling the story) and they worked together on some art/manga project. However, they worked on it a little too closely/long together and Mark kind of felt bad for ignoring Guppy. At some critical point where they might turn a point, Mark asked Sadie to work on the project by himself, cuz he wanted to hang out with Guppy who he had been ignoring. Sadie got all... indignant, partly because it was a critical stage of course, so he blasted a lot of cruel words at Mark, and then he left.
As you see, Mark got very depressed, probably felt he abandoned both his friends or something, and committed suicide. Sadie was obviously devastated, and so was Guppy once he saw Mark's corpse. And thus that's why Guppy has a vendetta against Sadie.
