There are definitely small groups of people dedicated to archival and translations, though they're mostly unrelated to the immediate translations of freshly leaked doujinshi that are done by passersby. The groups are mostly responsible for the high quality scans of books that are a couple years old that get posted from time to time.

Korean translations of new kemono doujinshi are centered around a forum that is basically their 4chan equivalent, and pretty much every single korean translation posted here recently has originated there.

The groups you're talking about don't deal in translation. For a brief time a couple of them had translators that affiliated with them. The translators never stuck around for more than a month. There is no translator community, here or in Korea. Wherever you go, it's just people dumping doujin at your local chan equivalent and praying someone with interest and language skills picks it up. This does not a community make.

Well that's the thing. The MC of Housamo is you, using a surrogate MC like him. There's also a more taller/athletic one, one with an average build and a slim woman. Ross just made his OC into a Housamo MC which is most likely one of the reasons it's so easy to make Housamo doujins aside from pretty much every design in that game being incredibly top tier for furry/human designs of all types and fetishes.

The reason we put translations into new threads, is because this site features a "catalog" system of archiving that organizes the comics by date posted.

Many people browse the hundreds of comics via the catalog, and if a new thread isn't made, they will never know there is a translation, as the thumbnail for that comic does not "bump" up in the catalog. it just continues to get buried under new comics.

The easy and pain-free solution is to make a new thread for translations.
