Not a single character in this looks alive. They seriously look like walking corpses.
I don't get freaked out by the "uncanny valley" nearly at all, but just the fact that the blue one (both forms) didn't close their eyes ONCE in the entirety of this comic legitimately disturbs me. There is 0 emotion in those eyes, even with the fucking hearts.
The Eevee isn't much better, but at least in some pages he doesn't look like he's been possessed by an Eldrich horror who is about to secrete a jet-black substance from his eyes and mouth, slowly contort and snap into a twisted mass of flesh, open all of its seven mouths, and sing the song that ends the Earth.

He was an Eevee and they evolve differently depending on how you handle them. Also, the art in this only got tolerable towards the end. The artist has really improved, but most of this is still a train wreck. He should re-do it in his new style.
