Well setting aside the cultural differences, Maririn being Japanese and the age of Consent in Japan is 13. I'm pretty sure Tyson being the more "emotional" one in the relationship, with Tobias being more reserved is to play into how they raise and adapt to Elias in a future chapter. Okay I'm sure this makes me a hypocrite and it kind of confuses me but here's my stance. I want to point out that Maririn is not the original writer since she basically bringing the story to life through her comics. Just like she did with her past project Brothers in Arms 1 and 2. However I'm not trying to defend her because even I don't know for sure if she's planning on going for the obvious route on her own or is it the writers choice. For example, she made a side story "Tiger Soldier x Leopard Sergeant" her own story based off of "Brothers in Arms". We just have to wait and see how it turns out.

Honestly the fart comic was like just a little over 5 pages. It's when Coal was younger than a preteen and he's with Charr, who farts and the sound and smell freaks out Coal.
