I am confused... are they all dead? Does this take place in the afterlife? If so, is the jackal dude a deity? But if this is the afterlife, why does it look like the world of the living? I am by no means an expert for mythology, but I remember that the afterlife was and is envisioned by those who believe in it as very different from the "land of the living". Just saying. Some explaination would be dope.

This is supposed to be the afterlife. They are dead.

He has the title "Lord". That is all we know. He does not seem to be Anubis. A personal guess would be that he is a guardian or caretaker of the underworld who was never alive, but he is not a deity.

Most depictions of the afterlife are both complex and complicated. I doubt that one could tell a sexy porn story in a better representation of what the Ancient Egyptians actually believed. I also highly doubt that Momoshi knows anything about the subject except some bits and pieces he collected from pop culture.
