comments like these remind me just how inept at reading a comic or inferring anything u18chan users are at times

its very, very clear he was doing construction (the two worked together), and a plank fell and was about to kill the dog. judging by his lack of surprise and overall nonchalance in his eye watching it come down to hit him, he may have been suicidal, but this is reaching a bit. the crocodile obviously pushed him out of the way, saving him, but getting hit instead, getting a scar/serious injury from it.

It may be a little nitpicky, but if is it raining, why did the artist draw a clear starry sky? It's fucking me up a bit.

Also the croc suddenly becoming sympathetic comes off as rather... hmm. Like, did the dog suffered amnesia, and the croc was looking forward to fuck him as if to take advantage of that?

Aaaaand now we're taking a simple premise (dog gets cocky, bets more than he's willing to lose, has to pay up to the older raunchy croc) and trying to complicate it with the addition of unnecessary backstory and drama.
