How is that like this comic at all? Patto made an "original" setting. This is a preexisting setting. That shit in Patto's comic was cringy but at least it was contained to just a few pages. Pretty sure he had to include them due to patreon rewards.

Normally I don’t have any major problems with oc’s Being snuck into a story in the background, but if there this blatantly obvious in design they stick out and pull me out of the “world” the artist is trying to make. Honestly if they wanted a character to talk to Darnell about his relationship with buddy they should have just used buddy’s sister? Cousin? Can’t remember but it would flow and feel more natural since in the show she’s a voice of reason.

the extra characters wouldn't be much of a problem if their designs weren't standing out like a sore thumb, a rat with wings and The Right Opinion furry don't look like they belong in there even if they were drawn in the style of the show, not to mention these two randoms who are not even trying to blend in

Not quite. The fox with the top hat and horns belongs to the writer (Lomas), like you said, but the winged rat is another one of his patrons (PlagueRat), not the artist (Delirost) whose OC is a scruffy yellow dog.

Bizarre and incongruous OC's aside, this is a really good comic. The characters all act like they would in the show, the dialogue is believable, the build-up to the actual sex is very well paced; not too slow or fast, just perfect with how Buddy jumps at it.

I just wish it would update more. That's the only complaint that I have.

Seems dead. If I may be so bold I'd say Imp's Paradise is a scammy middleman on patreon. The idea is he takes money and commissions artists for comics page by page but most of them stop early. He commissions a new furry flavor of the month to draw in more patreons and repeats the process.

The literally the exact opposite of how it works for him, though. Lomas writes the comics and has a Patreon set up so he can fund the comics and only releases the pages to his patrons early. The dude's kinda ADHD and can't focus on one project at a time, though, which is why he writes and commissions pages from 5-6 comics at once rotating between which ones he's been working on.
