My PS skills are rusty, but I'm pretty sure you can use a bezier curve and align your text to it, along with either a blurry drop shadow/duplicate text, and erase the letters meant to be behind the characters.

I'm going to assume they also used the perspective editing in the selection so the text 'shrinks' towards the right side.

That's how I'd do it off the top of my head.

Ahhh you are right. I immediately recognised the demon core but didn't get the screwdriver. I even know about the fatal incidents involving this evil thing but I forgot it was a screwdriver that turned it critical!
