Nah, this is just my guess, but I think Logan and Jake had a good thing going on, but Logan feels betrayed because Jake never told him he was married with children. But, as we see in the start of this chapter, it looks like Jake and his wife have some sort of agreement and Logan may have rushed the gun when he cussed out Jake without letting him explain himself.

Gage is nice and all, especially since he helped him get the job, but I get the feeling if there were some sheilas around he wouldn't be all over Logan.

What I like about this comic is that the reveals aren't withheld for the sake of drama. We could have easily had two more comics of this dude not knowing the deal with the other guy's family, but now this happens so casually, and now I'm not sure where it'll go.
It's unpredictable and avoids the typical trope of "if these people just talked, then there wouldn't be a problem".
