The writing in this series is so f'ing bad holy christ. We got like...5 years of comics showing Coop abusing Andy his entire life, gets beat up once and suddenly wants to go on a date with Andy? I had REALLY hoped this comic would end with Andy realizing Coop is a terrible person but nope....gotta glorify damaged goods and show abuse is ok as long as "Your confused and a closet gay but also hot so its ok"

Andy honestly isn't any better either. He's pushed away every single ACTUAL decent person in his life because apparently he gets off to being abused. This was Jack giving himself another out from the awkward position he wrote himself into. Like when Chelsea forgave Andy, this was him getting his characters out of the drama in a really unrealistic and abrupt way. And before you say anything, I'm not saying her forgiving Andy is unrealistic necessarily, just the parts after where she's perfectly okay trying to get him pimped out to her ex boyfriend who it seemed like she was in love with as fast as she did.

So there's two options:

I think Coop saying he was made uncomfortable by imagining Andy with someone else sexually, on top of how often he's either imagined (and masturbated to) thoughts of Andy or outright instigated sex with Andy is enough evidence to suggest that Coop is pretty into him physically, and his desire to explore dating without having so much baggage implies to me that he's romantically attracted as well. They'd work so much better as his friend and confidant, plain and simple, and aside from one or two existing panels they don't seem interested in him at all.
