I'm not sure about drawing classes, but you could definitely start by just googling "nude male art model" or just whatever you like, pause a porn video even, and try to draw what you're looking at. Starting with vague shape scribbles to get the proportions and pose, and smoothing it out as you go along.

The key thing to keep in mind is that you're gonna suck at the beginning. A lot. But as long as you don't get hung up on mistakes, trying to make everything perfect, but still pay attention to what you're trying to do and learning as you go along, you'll get better and better with regular practice. Give it 20 minutes a day for a week and then see for yourself.

Digital painting is a lot easier than it might seem. It's just that LEARNING it can be hard. Same advice as above: Work by looking at a reference photo, something with high contrast helps learn lighting. Start big and splotchy and once you have the general shape of the picture, work in more defined strokes and so on until you're at the point where you're adding fine details.

Chunie is fine for a starter guide to color mapping, but he's got a serious problem with texture application (all of his pics have a sort of melted soft quality to the colors because he never learned how to vary his textures or properly define hard edges). If I had to guess the yeen is a thief who’s reliving a memory of a past heist, and the cougar getting head has the face scar indicating the yeen once stole something from the shapeshifter.

I think it's going to be a Christmas Carol-like situation where the hyena/African wild dog kid is embarking through a reckoning brought about by the warping spirit/doppelganger to have him comfront his past.
I am guessing that the cougar with the scar is -or rather was, a real living person that met his end as a result of some indirect involvement of the hyena kid.

Maybe in an attempt to flee from being discovered stealing he ended up accidentally killing him in self-defense or something along those lines.

I'd be surprised if its something else like a sexual assault situation, even though that would be p hot.

I can take a stab at what the plot here is. My best guess, is that the cougar and hyena separated after their little escape and sex scene. They lived out their lives but after they died, they are spirits long for each other. But unfortunately, the cougar man has an idol as part of his culture used in his burial that is probably preventing them from being together. Maybe it only allows him to visit the moments of his life in which he was actually living and thus the hyena spirit cannot be with them. So they both are contacting the hyena and Cougar when they are alive and using them as pawns to get the idle to either destroy it or put it in the burial site of the hyena so that their spirits can be together. Which I would assume means that the hyena and cougar who are currently living This will change their future.

My understanding is that the shapeshifter isn't a sentient being, but some kind of representation of a spiritual link to one's past, possibly past lives (the "I'm your brother" thing). The pages where the yeen's headband keeps disappearing and reappearing implies a shift of perspective between now and then to me.
Seems the yeen and the cougar got spiritually entangled in some chronologically non-linear sense at some point in the past or future.

Well akshually :nerd_emoji:, from my experience most of people in the fandom literally cannot reckognize one from another so that's kinda valid question.

tl;dr African Wild Dogs have white stains on their fur and hyenas don't (unless the artist knows what they're doing).

First things first, Hyenas are felines and Lycaons are canines. Hyenas have circular dark brown spots on their light brown furs, while Lycaons have black fur with irregular brown and white(!) stain-like patterns.

Even artists tend to mix them up and draw Yeens with more canine-like characteristics like dog snouts, dog tails, dicks with knots and females without dicks.

At least they usually manage not to fuck up the fur so this is a good starting point.
