I think it's smart for an artist to mix 3D elements into a drawing for faster results, but it's jarring when the art styles don't match. The models have shading and no outlines, in contrast to the characters which have flat lighting and a hand drawn look. The first few pages were more successful at hiding the 3D.

I like D&N and understand using time saving techniques as an artist myself, but the copy and pasting is way too blatant in the last few panels. At least put a little more effort into masking it than that if you don't have time to draw new panels.

I guess I'm getting too old when I immedaitely understood that anon meant Ctrl+Alt+Delete with CAD for the copy pasted faces. I didn't even notice the 3D furniture in the background until now.

Edit: My mistake, I also meant the base/body being copy pasted. That's what struck me the most when first seeing the last page

It's not just the faces, it's the entire thing for the tiger in the last panels, and it's the exact same base for the rabbit on the last three, with just the face changed. Also, using 3D models *as base* for your drawings is fine. Leaving the 3D models in untouched is not. It literally would've taken him 2 minutes to trace over that chair and fill in the colors.

Right, I'm aware that CAD is a lot more known as "Computer-aided design". Just in this particular context with it being a comic, I immediately thought of the other webcomic and being deep into the drama surrounding with copy-pasting (after all, the well-known "Loss" comic was in 2008) so I immediately understood the reference to that. With the webcomic pretty much out of everybody's mind, I totally get the confusion.
