"Uncle"? Taichi's just Wargreymon's human partner in the Digimon canon, no family relation.

I'm not surprised by this. Anhes has drawn cubs in the past (actual cubs doing sexually suggestive things, not just his chibi fursona), and his first Phan comic had shades of "adults groom teens into sex" tropes.

I agree the text dialogue is cringe. The art is great though, and it's easy to blank out the text and replace it with what you want. The font is most likely DLE Comic Lowercase. Personally, I'm waiting for the rest of the comic before trying to re-write it for my own tastes.

That's the thing that really kills the mood for me, because everytime he says Taichi, his 10 year old self is always the first image that comes into my mind, which is super iffy.

Dude, Digimon Adventure is the most iconic series in the franchise, of course it's fucking hard for me to disassociate the name Taichi from his 10 year old self unless shown (extra emphasis on shown) otherwise.

Especially considering that there's no image of adult Taichi in this comic yet, so I always ended up forgetting that the artist said that Taichi is already an adult at this comic's timeline (why not make it clear in the comic itself fuuuuuuu). The time frame until me remembering is super iffy, I'm telling you, and it has happened several times already since I have bad memory so I always forget about that artist's statement whenever new page is released.

Beside, dude what the actual fuck. How the fuck me saying that seeing the name Taichi mentioned repeatedly is making this comic super awkward brought you to the conclusion that I'm into kids?

That's literally the opposite of their point.
The point they made is that, despite the author making it so that Taichi is 17 or so, his strongest memories of the character are from the original, in which he's a 10 year old, so when the character's name is mentioned without an adult Taichi depicted as a reference, their mind defaults to the version they remember the best. The kid version.
