I feel kinda bad for Morenatsu, it had a lot of love and potential, but kinda faded out pretty quick, and when it was gonna make a comeback, many things happened: one team trying to continue the game lost everything because of some asshole ruining everything and everybody pretty much ether left or quit THEN just flat out abandon the thing. Eventually a sorta remake happened, tho it was more just an add on with some minimal changes and a hidden character route which was decent but still nothing different. And then later on, there was an actual remake with a different art style which wasn't the best but was fine on it's own, which was still being developed but had a steady pacing for the most part, and I haven't seen anybody mention since then. I even tried looking up on Akatsuki the Dragon, Deckerlink, and Naokycooper on YouTube to see if they've played the latter, which Akatsuki did than his channel got screwed over and had to restart all over again, but even before it was deleted, he did play a bit of it but stopped for a while. I also feel like the originals artist didn't want to finish because people kept translating it without him saying so and was pissy over something else and just flat out quit(from something I saw a while back, and I could be misremembering something). In the end, I feel like Morenatsu was pretty much just a fad- popular for a while, but once something different comes and takes the spotlight, you're pretty much just forgotten about.
