Uhm... no, the god that's associated with horses in Greek mythology is Poseidon. He's, in fact, the father of pegasus in some myths. Aphrodite has been associated with doves, oysters, sparrows, swans and even dolphins (appropiate, considering what we know about those nowadays), but never horses. I'm not gonna keep nitpicking, though, as it looks like Poseidon's gonna be personally involved later down the road:

Eh, I don't know about that one chief. Like I know that Myrrha, the mother of Adonis was cursed by Aphrodite to have lust for her own father when she decided to remain a virgin. Similarly Aphrodite made Hippolytus' mother lust for him when he became the only male hunter of Artemis which lead to a series of events which resulted in both of their deaths. Or that time they killed Asclepilus for being the worlds greatest doctor.

All these people were minding their own business and honoring mutually exclusive gods and yet they incurred the wrath of other gods for some reason.

Myrrha's story varies a lot, and the version where she's punished by Aphrodite for "failing to honour her" is not even the most popular one (the incest is usually either her own passions or Aphrodite's way of punishing her mom's boastings). Assuming that "failing to honour" is indeed just staying a virgin and not some form of impiety, though, I will grant that one for that specific version.

Hyppolitus outright calls Aphrodite "vile", at least in Euripides's version, which was definitely showing open defiance.

Asclepios was reviving mortals and depleting Hades of inhabitants, thus going against the order established by Nature/the gods, which is a major taboo in Greek myth (pretty unjust, but what can you do). This unleashes Apollo's wrath (he kills Zeus's lightning-forging cyclopes in retalliation) and eventually ends with Asclepios turning into another god. The sequence of events shows that Zeus was wrong to outright smite him instead of politely asking him to stop.

If you angered or disrespected the the gods they didn't try to bang you, they'd do horrible things to you. Apollo had the satyr Marsia skinned alive because king Midas judged the former's music better than the latter's ffs. Try to avoid seeing gods of mythological folklore as individuals, and try to see them as representations for human interactions and experience rather than real people with emotions. Porn benefits from a good story. Especially when we're talking comics, a medium where it's very easy for the creator to control everything that is presented down to the last detail.

There's a reason the first comics that come to mind when I think about stuff I liked in the past are Roommates and Little Buddy. I've seen plenty of comics that just jumped straight into the porn and they are fine, but you forget about them super quickly. Even worse are comics that have have plot but are so badly written that they put you off the porn.

I just realized. There's like, a 98% chance that Pegasus winds up being Zeus.

That's the reason why he doesn't revere the gods - Zeus is notably known to think of himself as above all of the other gods combined.

At the same time, it would make sense because Zeus is well known to have sex with horses (among other things) after transforming himself into a horse.

Lastly, I don't think I see Zeus amongst the gods in the earlier pages. A notable exception, if there is to be one who challenges the gods.
