Two things I've learned

1. The writer suffers from expositionitis

2. Most of the honourary fursonas here (since I recognize a few of them from elsewhere) seem to be made by people with MASSIVE egos

Half of these furries have got the most insane levels of narcissism from living vicariously through a make believe character in art made by OTHER people. The artists get shafted half the time so these 4/10 dudes can be in some weird spotlight.

Using pages worth of thought bubbles is a classic tool of American comics exposition. They did finally switch to narrative balloons in the 80s, but really read any Broze Age American comics, esp. with any staged ensemble action sequences, and the pages just fill up with them.
And also yes, the descriptions can be absurdly meticulous.

I liked them when they didn't have so many different art styles. Most of them just look meh to me. Style 2 for comics is probably my favorite, minus the ridiculous expressions.
