I don't think that's really the case. Throughout the comic there have been varying levels of selective detail. The artist seems to be making active decisions about how to draw things depending on how close they are or whether they're the focus of a panel. For example, there have been hints that they have kinda outie belly buttons in many pages, but only a few panels really draw attention to them. Page 7 shows the detail increasing depending on Levi's gaze. The most recent page also decides to show the more complex contours of Dachi's brow and snout for the closeup (which is the hottest part of the page for me somehow lmao), but his head is pretty simplified in most other pages. When the focus shifts to violently erect dicks, we suddenly get violently erect dicks.

Here is the weird thing. I don't feel quite comfortable with the idea of working towards a monogamous relationship because my insecurity tells me, "Oh, I might not be good enough, they'll look at someone else and then ghost..." whereas two guys already having a secure relationship with each other and want a third guy to be with them...gives me a better sense of confidence. Anyway. If that's what you're into, you do you. But polygamous relationships are growing increasingly popular nowadays, that alternatively it's becoming more uncommon for such as two gay men to be in a monogamous relationship.

Look at many of the gay comics being pumped out today. Jackaloo is a prime example of the polyamorous trend. People love that shit.

But honestly? Not everything has to be about polyamory. It's becoming more normalized everywhere to the point where people who only want to be a monogamous relationship are being expected or demanded to be polyamorous. The expectations and etiquette behind it all are downright horrendous.

If I were to do the same thing you did and trauma dump here too-- I've gone through polyamory once or twice and the exact opposite's what happened to me. I hated it. Having to compete for a significant other's attention. Favoritism. It was a nightmare. No more.

It's inevitable, and you can't just continue to look through with rose-tinted lenses.

Being in a monogamous relationship feels more special, because I don't have to "fight/compete" for someone else's attention. It's not about sharing either, because having the affection divided loses the intimacy, integrity, and intricacy of the relationship. If my partner is seeking for a plus one, well, they can kindly fuck off with someone else. The fact that they are seeking affection from outside our relationship, or that they find my affection for them lacking-- it means a lot of things.. a LOT of things.

If they aren't content, or don't accept you for who you are that they need to HAVE somebody else to compensate for the things you lack... Fuck man. Personally I wouldn't waste my time with piece of shit. But those are some major issues.

Again, if polyamory is what you're into, good for you. But please, pleaase don't push that agenda on people who don't even want it. We don't even demand you poly people to go mono.
