I like this comic but the translation just makes it SO much more awkward. The wording's nuance (or lackthereof) is just.. egh. "stink" and "Pervert". I get it can be slow to realize someone /likes you/, but nobody in English actually talks like this lol.

Admittedly, this is maybe the first instance I've ever seen where the "decensoring" work wasn't overtly offensive. Still, when I want to consume content by an artist, why would I want it to be drawn over by some stranger with a different style. It's not too different from when people make "translations" where they literally just make shit up to put in the bubbles.

The original has only the faintest suggestion of dick, which is common in adult content sold in "normal" bookstores in japan. You can tell the stuff posted here was edited because the moire on the halftones of the dicks did not exactly align with the moire on other parts of the pages. It's a good attempt, though.
