Zourik pumping out comics like this reminds me of how Hyaku used to pump out like 3-5 pieces a day with no breaks in between (and they were all full-pieces, too.)

I hope he isn't overworking himself tho. Like, pushing out patreon content while also drawing 3-4 comics at the same time just sounds way too much.

I personally don't think the quality dropped as hard as it could have, looking at someone like Aaron, who will never improve his characters' anatomy merely because his patreons love botched up anatomy for some reason, in fact, Aaron never really was a good artist. He has some good pics but the majority are horrible mutants.

Then there are those like Dream and Nightmare, who is also progressively going down the same path as Aaron: horrible anatomy, disgustingly big pecs, asses and dicks etc. I really hope Zourik won't go down the fetish art path, because he is an actually good artist compared to Aaron

I like to think there are decent people in zourik's worlds, but zourik only shows us the most degenerate ones because anything else would be boring. It just wouldn't make sense for everyone to be sluts or turn into sluts.

This would make sense. Most artists do this. It's just not necessarily obvious in his specific comics. It is very likely though that he just likes this theme.

But you know, the most believable part here is that an innocent dude would give in to somebody like this. People who haven't gone through self-discovery will be easily influenced by someone who drills the thought into their brain, which however scary it might sound it actually most often happens as a regular social interaction to get to know the other person.

And Dylan here has absolutely no idea what he is doing and doesn't understand his emotions. That is more likely to make him jump in if Bryan gains his trust (which of course didn't happen with his little stunt so he has to get to know him first).

Most of his plots are fantasy based on messing (to whatever level he feels like) with the nature of social interactions to make things unhinged. That is not delusion, it's just his fetish.

But this part of the prequel is kinda trying to play it straight, or deconstruct it closely anyways. It just so happens that Bryan is a gay horny pervert with lots of gay horny pervert friends, but the comic is still connected to the rest of the story so of course that's kept in. And yet that also could work in real life, if they're compatible as friends.

Now, if you told me in real life about the idea of an innocent gay dude seducing his brother, then setting up a trap to make him, his brother and his father have a threesome, and the three are completely willing to go with it because they're so horny, fine. That would make no sense.

But these are comics so if it's hot it works. This comic is nothing in comparison to that.

I already commented this one a different zourik comic but I'm just gonna paste it here.

This reminds me of that one dangpa comic called "mundi" about the college student and his advisor that are friends but get together near the end, while having sex, the advisor changes form in the middle of it and is revealed to be a demon and no where prior in the comic was that introduced or hinted at as a thing in the comic and then later the other guy grows horns showing that he was also a demon but the story did not put focused explaining why he was but the advisors.

The reply section got weird out and angry at the out of nowhere demon part in what looked like a slice of life comic that didn't add in much but confusion and turmoil and so the artists did a "what if" scenario where they divided the story by telling a part of the story going with the demon plot line and the other where that whole deal was all a dream, dangpa got so much criticism for the story decision that the apologized for the twist in their story, this comic reminded of that
