im not gonna pretend artists havent been using presets and templates their whole lives, but at least it wasnt done in such a disconnected and messy way. the colors are all off, the background looks uncanny, this feels like a fever dream but not a good one
This feels lazy to me, experimental for sure, and all the power for that, but done in quick and cheap way. What I dont really get tho, is that the characters anatomies are looking great! I dont know the extent of where AI was used to draw they two, but if at least half of what were seeing was drawn by hand, that means the artist has real talent. And if thats the case, why use unfinished AI layouts? Why not at least paint over an atmosphere that doesnt look like the bottom of an olympic pool? i swear i was gasping for air in the middle of the action cause the background felt so claustrophobic and liminal
im sorry but this is real bad stuff right here, and im scared that with AI, the number of mishmashed blurry unsaturated blobs of boring color palettes and poorly planned compositions are going to increase even more
