I found a comment in the furaffinity page that sonicfox actually responded to
“Hmm.
Okay, that gives me a lot more context as to what's going on here. Omni did what he did as a means of protection as much a form of discipline. They're in actual, physical danger, and being actively hunted. So this isn't so much Nik being held and suppressed against his will, it's for his very survival.
That explains Omni's perspective.
It also makes Nik look a lot more like your typical horndog teenager. But to be fair, being a half-breed, Nik's body chemistry is probably unique, and he's going through some seriously rough times that Omni didn't, and doesn't have perspective for.
They definitely need to talk this one out. Nik needs to accept that he's in danger, but Omni needs to lighten up a bit. Both are right, but both are also wrong.
BUUUUT...
Nik just stepped over the line with that last crack. Not with what he said, which is bad, but the fury he said it with. Those are weapons that can kill a relationship.” ~ IonOtter
The response was a simple “Pretty good summation” from sonic Fox
