I’ve had a lot of ideas on the back burner for a while now, and I’ve decided to start a comic about my character Jim Rat. People have been asking for it for a long time, and I admit it’ll be kind of fun to draw something upbeat and horny after working on a serious drama for so long. I’m going to keep doing YCH auctions for the next few weeks, and while I do I’ll probably be posting concepts and teasers for my next comic. Once the Jim Rat comic starts I’ll probably do things exactly the way I did before, with the one obvious exception being that I won’t be putting incest pairings on my reward theme polls anymore.

I hope you’ll all enjoy my next project. Even though I’m disappointed that I have to put Wilson on hold, I’m still excited to start on something new.

What should I "take seriously"?

I'm aware these are fictional characters. When I make the criticisms and observations I make in reference to these cartoons, I'm actually speaking to other humans. The cartoons' behaviors, personalities and activities are modeled after real humans. My commentary really is more for other people, who have done, are doing, and are thinking about doing, what the characters in the cartoons have done. In this instance, I want to affirm that I would not approve of another human carrying themselves like Bill or Tripp.

I can assure you, you have not seen me in my "too serious" mode yet. Me spending a few minutes to write down my observations (using formal English), decisively, about poor decision-making and bad behavior, is not "too serious."
