Obsessively stalk? that's literally his commander that he thinks has been brainwashed by the enemy. he's been looking for him since forever to try to save him, from the ones who captured him. now that he sees him in this form, he's angry and confused on why he doesn't want to come back, and why he's siding with their enemies. throwing insults at Gervic is uncalled for, but he has every reason to feel that way towards Vlagg, since it was his people who did this to Gervic. he just doesn't know that it wasn't Vlaggs fault, and that Gervic is trying to make the best of a terrible situation. But technically he's doing everything right to try to help his superior, even though he doesn't fully understand the circumstances.

He disobeyed because he doesn't understand what's happening. he only heard his voice the first time, and now he sees him like this. and to be fair Gervic was literally turned gay and got his body mutated through unnatural means. so you can understand his shock in seeing what happened to Gervic, and the fact that he literally got his mind and body altered to think this way. shoot this isn't even the first time he got "slut shamed". the fact is. he basically turned into one after the spell, and is forced to deal with it. luckily he can keep himself in check now, but that doesn't stop the allegations from being true. I can see where the story is going with the whole (acceptance about oneself and having others except you for who you are, or whatever). but technically almost everyone is in the right and wrong with this.

I don't get how you guys don't understand that leaving that note, and then still finding out he's still alive but in a twisted state would just make him look harder for him. Well the end is OK, if we can call it like that, he rewrite twice the story while publishing but in the end, he decided to go with the expected finale.

I get that but that just makes the wolves poor characters in quality when compared to Gervic who is a superior character. Because it's convenient for them to talk about allies and supporting their kingdom during war but are okay with abandoning others when need be.
Vju could have let Gervic make a smart comeback asking what Zaer and the others were doing while he was tortured and how Vlagg was the only person in that situation who actually cared enough to do something and help but Gervic held his tongue. Now it might comeback to haunt him since a potential enemy knows his location and Vlagg can't fly to escape.
