I'd like to know how they do such a great job with the hands. There's no extra/missing fingers or joints.
I think some of the confusion with the face consistency is that this story is sliding between different time periods and the ages of the characters is fluid.

It's genuinely difficult to get this consistent or quality of results from AI image gen tools currently available, you need to already be able to draw a little/be good at using the tools and running the hardware for it.

It's like gatekeeping cooking and saying that anyone that uses store bought ingredients vs farming them on their own isn't a real cook. It's patently false, you still have to have some amount of skill even if the amount is lowER.

But yeah I'd like to know the workflow behind this comic because it turned out insanely well. It's better than a lot of hand drawn furry shit...the bar is low.

Not that anon, but you need to be able to draw at least a little bit to guide the ai to get consistent results so it's not at all the same as having the "robot cook for you."
AI can actually be a useful tool in the creative process and I don't like it when people dismiss it without understanding that.

Some pages has absolutely no text at all. It feels off. I know there are comics that have no dialogue as a stylistic choice, but they're still able to convey the flow/mood/intent. Here, it feels awkward and unnatural, like there's dialogue missing.

Holy moly! I've been using SD for about a year now and I've been studying the inner mechanics for a about half that time. I can say with certainty that this is excellent, excellent work. Getting this level of consistency is next to impossible so I'd be curious to see how they accomplished it. Beyond that, getting the ideas to flow so seamless from one panel to the next - really great work. Certainly not the style I'd go for, but as far as using the machine goes I'd say it's top notch.

There's currently some incredibly good furry-focused SD checkpoints that gen things that can be elbow greased into something looking like a comic fairly easily, though you can still tell it isn't done by a real artist. I prefer actual comics from actual artists, but sometimes a pinup generated by SD can be good for a quick and dirty fap.

For the record, all of these "use AI to spot AI generated content" tools are notoriously bad and will false flag most of the time. I'm not saying it's wrong in this case, but you shouldn't rely on it to spot AI generated content.

Anyone who has gone to a school/university that uses these kinds of tools knows what I'm talking about. It's a complete pain in the ass.
