Suit yourself. Just don't whine when a lot of people elsewhere I like "But I loved your new style why the change" and then you go back and forth like a headless chicken.
That's what I'm trying to tell artists when I say such things. You will always get like a few people bitching, and a lot of people who actually like it. Literally do what you want. You gotta enjoy your stuff first and foremost. Be confident in your own style. Don't just do it to please the most people, or "for content". People will come to you for your own content that you yourself enjoy. Just keep that in mind.
I say that because I've seen way too many good artists fold and destroy themselves, whether is the style, the content or a little bit of everything adding up.
