After the war, Vlagg settled down in a new city with Gervic and started their new life together. Time sure flies as two decades have passed before Vlagg finally resume contact with Herinn via letter. Of course, Vlagg still keep it on the down low as he is unsure of how his family will react if they know that he married a wolf that is technically an enemy of his nation (and is also a guy).

Apparently. he skips a lot of things trying to hurry the story along. remember he skipped the whole pregnancy section because he didn't want to draw how it would have worked, and some people were complaining about the whole thing in general. he skipped how they made it to the new town and how they even survived. most of what happened to them after the attack was completely off screen, and we only get bits and pieces of the story through random art.

A lot of time has passed since the epilogue. Their first son is at the academy (equivalent of late high school I guess) according to Vlagg on the first page so at least a 15+ years passed since the epilogue so Gervic might have lost weight for 15+ years since he is no longer a General and doesn't have to maintain a certain amont of muscles and all. Thus, he twinkified himself.
