Kinda hoping this whole thing gets fucked up. Either the barrier is disturbed and the ritual cancelled, or Atlas just power-bottoms Roy into submission and ends up winning anyway.
The idea that Atlas has to prove loyalty/trustworthiness for anything when he stands nothing to gain through deceit is a bit bland. As much as I enjoy small_dom / big_sub stuff, it'd be a lot more interesting for them to deal with the interpersonal dynamics of imlication of Roy losing his last card - the ability to rebel - to Atlas who already holds so many. Conversely, it would also be neat to see Atlas deal with the task of proving himself trustworthy / proving he didn't intentionally trap Roy into becoming his servant after accidentally binding Roy to himself (Atlas) instead.
