It's not abnormal for artists to do things that streamline the artistic process that lets them get stuff out more quickly and consistently. It's about working smart, not "honest" or whatever arbitrary standards people may impose on themselves.

In this case, they'd be using the 3d models as a base reference to quickly map the perspective and general poses down. Then everything you appreciate about the art, meaning the gesture, anatomy, rendering, character design etc is 100% x6udpngx's efforts.

The 3d doll you showed here doesn't have any of that. The muscles on it don't realistically flex and extend like they do on a real person when you pose it (let alone have holes or wieners to trace). That's all the artist's skill on display there.

I see what you mean. The shading and lighting are very... crisp, too. Shadows fall flat on the supposedly furry bodies. Also the rabbit's abs when he horse is fucking him (pg 11) are really sharp and polygonal.
